Redundant packaging

Just experienced a classic bit of excessive packaging when my mother brought round a new pair of wellies she had bought for my daughter.

Firstly they were in a fairly robust plastic bag with a drawcord, which I wasn't too keen on, but unbelievably, in the bag with the wellies was a small sachet of silica - obviously to stop them being damaged by moisture prior to sale!
